Job summary

A leading port operator in Singapore seeks a dedicated professional responsible for ensuring port safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental, along with at least 3 years of experience as a registered WSHO. Key responsibilities include establishing safety targets, developing safety programmes, and monitoring their effectiveness, all whilst collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years as registered WSHO with relevant hands-on experience.
• Registered WSHO and FSM, ECO certification is a bonus.
• Expert level on relevant legislation/standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for port safety standards.
• Establish and manage WSH targets.
• Develop and execute programmes/projects for safety culture.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programmes/projects.

Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work with diverse groups

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Details oriented

Education

Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental or related discipline

ISO 45001 certified internal auditor
