Job summary

A leading port operations company in Singapore is seeking a Port Operations Executive to coordinate vessel scheduling and manage berth applications. Candidates should have a diploma in Maritime, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management and at least 5 years of experience in the port industry. Strong team players with excellent communication skills will excel in this role, which requires 12-hour shift work.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of port operations and procedures is an advantage.

  • Review and approve vessel profile submissions via Modernised JP-Online.
  • Process berth applications accurately and update relevant details.
  • Maintain vessel records and ensure data accuracy in the JP vessel master database.

Port Operations Executive (Berth Planning)

Review and approve vessel profile submissions via Modernised JP-Online

Process berth applications accurately and update relevant details.

Assign cargo-client codes, cargo modes, storage, and crane allocations as needed.

Maintain vessel records and ensure data accuracy in the JP vessel master database.

Ensure timely conversion of Cement Vessel Reservation System (CVRS) bookings to berth applications.

Update the Berth Application and Planning System with any changes.

Respond promptly to emails to support efficient vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and crane allocation.

Work with agents and WSH to ensure adherence to MPA's Dangerous Goods (DG) limits.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Maritime, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the port or related industry.
  • Able to perform 12-hour shift work (Day/Night Shift)
  • Ability to work independently and handle customer needs professionally
  • Knowledge of port operations and procedures is an advantage.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
