As a Steersman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe navigation and maneuvering of vessels within waterways and ports. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of maritime operations. You will work closely with the navigation team, ship's crew, and port authorities to ensure vessels are steered safely through various conditions while adhering to maritime regulations and best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manning of specified craft and/or any other crafts
• Upkeep the craft in good, clean and tidy conditions
  • Engines to be checked
  • Interior and exterior to be washed and cleaned
  • Reporting of any faults
• Assisting with any offer on general works as and when required.
  • Mooring / unmooring Operation
  • Combating oil pollution
  • General housekeeping
• Comply with all safety rules of the terminal and company.

Requirement:

• MPA Helmsman /Steersman (Port Limit) / MPA SR license or equivalent
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Able to work long hours
