Job summary

A logistics management firm based in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Support Officer to provide operational support for all warehouse activities. The role requires a diploma with 3 years of experience in warehousing preferred, alongside strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with WMS and FMS are essential. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess analytical skills under pressure. This role contributes to the efficient execution of import container deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant warehousing experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience in logistics operations management is an added advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily operational support for all warehouse activities, ensuring smooth workflow and organization.
• Plan and maximize container utilization while maintaining cargo safety and adhering to handling requirements.
• Oversee administrative functions and documentation for PESD staff within the warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with trucking and warehouse teams to efficiently execute import container deliveries and movements.
• Liaise directly with clients for import console containers, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to agreed KPIs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline, with 3 years of relevant warehousing experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing abilities.
• Experience in logistics operations management, particularly within 3PL, trucking, distribution, or manufacturing settings, is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Freight Management Systems (FMS).
• Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and composure under pressure.
