Policy Programs Manager, Safety & Integrity, Asia Pacific

Meta is looking for a Policy Programs Manager to join our Asia‑Pacific Policy Programs and Campaigns Team. As part of Meta’s Global Public Policy organization, the Programs team is responsible for demonstrating the value of our platform and the investments that we are making to keep people safe across the region. This team focuses on a range of areas including safety and integrity, economic policy, and innovation. You will develop and implement a thoughtful plan to champion the responsible use of technology across the Asia Pacific region. Through programmatic partnerships with governments, academics, non‑profits and other key stakeholders, you will support parents, educators, and community leaders to equip their children and constituents with the skills to navigate technology safely and responsibly. You will engage with policymakers, non‑profits and other stakeholders in key dialogues and conversations on emerging areas for collaboration and research. You will also work closely with the policy, communications, marketing and research teams at the company. We are looking for a candidate who can come up with strategic, creative ways to address challenging issues, has great interpersonal and collaboration skills and possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple fast‑moving projects simultaneously. Responsibilities
  • Work across the Asia‑Pacific Policy Campaigns and Programs team to define and build core programs and initiatives to enable our larger Public Policy team in the field to communicate at scale with policy makers.
  • Lead programmatic efforts on safety & literacy programs: program development and execution, research projects, partnership management, case study and collateral material development, general project planning and new programming opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of communications, educational and marketing materials.
  • Drive ideation, creation and production of events, program elements and collateral materials across a range of subject areas (economic impact programs, integrity programs) for different countries in the region.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree related to Public Policy, Public Affairs or Communications or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, in the field of public policy or public affairs.
  • Experience deploying policy projects across multiple countries in the Asia‑Pacific region.
  • Experience drafting internal and external material, communicating policy issues.
  • Experience with project management in the policy space and attention to detail.
  • Experience in building partnerships.
  • Experience prioritizing high‑priority projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with all levels, including leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of tech policy.
  • Strategic thinker and creative.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with policy programs or public affairs.
  • Experience leading on multi‑market research projects.
  • Experience working on trust and safety programs.
