Qualifications

The clinic features video gait analysis systems for comprehensive biomechanical assessments, total contact foot scanners, milling machines for next-generation orthotic fabrication. including 3D printing and Manufactureof Custom shoes.

It offers specialized services including cryosurgery for plantar warts, a dedicated surgical room for ingrown toenail procedures, and diabetic and general foot care. With an in-house Orthema CAD/CAM orthotic laboratory, my FootDr can design and manufacture fully customized orthotics on the same day, providing fast and tailored solutions for patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Podiatrist role based in Singapore for Singaporeans or PR only at this time.

. The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions, including biomechanical issues, musculoskeletal pain, skin and nail pathologies, and diabetic foot complications. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed gait and biomechanical examinations using advanced equipment, prescribing and reviewing orthotics, performing minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenail surgeries, and delivering routine and preventative foot care. The Podiatrist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate clinical records, educate patients on foot health and self-care strategies, and uphold high standards of infection control and clinical quality. Participation in case discussions, continuous professional development, and the refinement of clinical protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical decision-making relevant to foot and lower limb health.
• Formal training and demonstrated competency in Podiatry, including general, surgical, and diabetic foot care.
• Applied knowledge of Biomechanics for gait analysis, lower limb assessment, and treatment planning.
• Experience with Orthotics, including assessment, prescription, and evaluation of custom devices.
• Clinical experience in managing Diabetes-related foot complications and preventative care.
• Recognized degree in Podiatry (or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with using modern diagnostic technologies and willingness to learn new clinical systems and tools.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and high standards of clinical governance.
