Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking individuals to operate manufacturing equipment, including plating lines. Candidates should have plating and chemical handling experience, although those without experience may be considered for a Plating Operator role with on-the-job training provided. The position requires shift work and overtime commitment.

Qualifications

• Plating experience and chemical handling experience.
• Candidates without experience will be considered for Plating Operator role (on the job training will be provided).
• Able to work rotation shift.
• Able to commit to work Overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment such as plating line and re-reeler.
• Use of measuring equipment to perform quality check on parts.
• Inspect product and material to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform line maintenance to ensure line operation.
• Maintain production data in MFG/Pro.
• Record and document information such as inspection checklist and production records.
• Set up and changeover plating lines.
• Monitor and adjust AMP reading and solution levels.

Education

SPM / 'O' Level / Professional Certificate / ITE in Mechanical or equivalent

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment such as plating line and re-reeler.
• Use of the measuring equipment, solder pot and X’ray machine to perform quality check on parts as per checklist.
• Inspect product and material to ensure that they meet specifications.
• Perform line maintenance to ensure line operation.
• Maintain production data such as quantity on scrap, good part, changeover and set up hours, production hours in MFG/Pro.
• Record and document appropriate information such as inspection checklist, production records etc.
• Set up and changeover plating lines.
• Monitor and adjust AMP reading, solution levels, line speed, line tension, jets, rinse flow, contact rollers etc.

Job Requirements

• SPM / "O" Level / Professional Certificate / ITE in Mechanical or equivalent
• Plating experience and chemical handling experience.
