Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for an Equipment Operator to manage the operation of manufacturing equipment such as plating lines. The role involves quality checking parts and maintaining production data. Candidates with SPM, 'O' Levels, or a Professional Certificate in Mechanical are encouraged to apply. No prior experience is required for the right candidate, as on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• SPM / 'O' Level or equivalent in Mechanical required.
• Plating and chemical handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training if inexperienced.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment including plating line.
• Perform quality checks using measuring equipment.
• Inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct line maintenance to ensure operation.
• Maintain production data and records.
• Set up and changeover plating lines.
• Monitor and adjust production parameters.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment such as plating line and re-reeler.
• Use of the measuring equipment, solder pot and X’ray machine to perform quality check on parts as per checklist.
• Inspect product and material to ensure that they meet specifications.
• Perform line maintenance to ensure line operation.
• Maintain production data such as quantity on scrap, good part, changeover and set up hours, production hours in MFG/Pro.
• Record and document appropriate information such as inspection checklist, production records etc.
• Set up and changeover plating lines.
• Monitor and adjust AMP reading, solution levels, line speed, line tension, jets, rinse flow, contact rollers etc.

Job Requirements

• SPM / "O" Level / Professional Certificate / ITE in Mechanical or equivalent
• Plating experience and chemical handling experience.
• Candidates without experience will be considered for Plating Operator role (on the job training will be provided)
• Able to work rotation shift
• Able to commit to work Overtime
