Job summary

SG25 Agilent Technologies Singapore is seeking a Digital Solutions Engineer – Platform Services to design, develop, and maintain backend services, enterprise APIs, and cloud-native platforms that connect manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with data scientists, AI teams, and Smart Factory engineers to build scalable, secure platforms, implement CI/CD, and ensure reliability across global operations, using modern .NET/Python/Node.js stacks and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

Experience developing backend applications, APIs, or enterprise software platforms.
Proficiency in C#, Python, or Java.
Understanding of API development, system integration, and relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and distributed application architecture.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for building scalable software platforms enabling digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for enterprise digital products.
Build reusable APIs, microservices, and shared platform capabilities.
Develop secure services enabling reliable communication between enterprise systems.
Ensure platform services are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
Develop integration services connecting ERP, MES, PLM, and AI platforms.
Design API-first solutions and implement event-driven patterns.
Develop cloud-native applications and support CI/CD practices.
Improve platform performance, reliability, and observability.
