Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Endpoint Management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with MDM solutions, specifically JAMF Pro.
• Jamf 200 certification (mandatory or strongly preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of Apple ecosystems (macOS, iOS).
• Experience working with Linux/UNIX systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Platform Engineer – MDM (JAMF) with strong experience in managing and automating enterprise Apple environments. The role focuses on JAMF-based device management, Apple platform administration, and system-level automation in a secure, large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions using JAMF Pro for macOS and iOS devices.
• Administer and support Apple platforms (macOS, iOS) across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain JAMF policies, profiles, smart groups, and compliance workflows.
• Automate endpoint management tasks using zsh and shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Apple devices, MDM enrollment, and configurations.
• Integrate JAMF with enterprise systems such as identity management, security, and directory services.
• Support Linux/UNIX systems and perform system administration tasks.
• Ensure endpoint security, patching, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service desk teams to improve endpoint reliability and user experience.
• Document platform standards, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Endpoint Management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with MDM solutions, specifically JAMF Pro.
• Jamf 200 certification (mandatory or strongly preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of Apple ecosystems (macOS, iOS).
• Solid understanding of JAMF frameworks and capabilities.
• Experience working with Linux/UNIX systems.
• Strong system administration fundamentals.
• Proficiency in zsh / shell scripting for automation.
• Experience in managing devices at enterprise scale.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Higher JAMF certifications (Jamf 300 / 400).
• Experience with endpoint security tools and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to identity platforms (Azure AD, Okta, LDAP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD or automation tools.
• Experience in regulated environments (banking, healthcare, government).
