Job summary

Dada Consultants is hiring for a reliability/site reliability engineer to join a production-focused, engineering-driven team in Singapore. You will own reliability and infrastructure, collaborating with backend and platform engineers on large-scale, consumer-facing platforms.

The role emphasizes on-call responsibilities, automation, and cost-efficient, scalable infrastructure. A strong foundation in Linux, cloud, and scripting is required to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell scripting, with ability to independently build tools.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure; exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments is a plus.
• Strong Linux, networking, load balancing, and high-availability / disaster recovery design.
• Hands-on experience operating or supporting large-scale web services in production environments.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced reliability-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems for large-scale online services.
• Own core operational functions including resource management, incident response, capacity planning, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Review designs to identify reliability/scalability risks.
• Analyze bottlenecks and lead optimization for stability and cost efficiency.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and drive root cause analysis.
• Automate processes to reduce manual intervention and operational overhead.
