Job summary

Dymon Asia Capital, a leading investment firm headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, develop, and modernize our production-grade investment technology stack. You will own the evolution of trading, risk, pricing, portfolio, and market-data systems, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing enterprise applications, APIs, services, or distributed systems in C#/.NET
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and software architecture
• Experience with SQL and relational database design
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, source control, and modern software-development practices
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Domain exposure in buy-side investment management, hedge funds, or capital markets technology
• Experience with modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, gRPC, and cloud platforms like Azure
• Experience with Redis, SQLServer/PostgreSQL, and Docker/infrastructure-as-code

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade applications using C# and modern .NET
• Build and enhance trading, risk, pricing, portfolio, market-data, and post-trade systems
• Develop services and APIs supporting trade booking, positions, P&L, exposure, valuation, and risk analytics
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and operational supportability
• Contribute to modernization of legacy applications and migration to cloud-based platforms
• Work with Redis, relational databases, messaging systems, and distributed-computing components
• Write comprehensive units, integration, regression, and automated tests
• Participate in design reviews, incident investigation, and continuous improvement
