Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a Platform Engineer to design, deploy and optimise CI/CD platforms supporting the application lifecycle. You will work with DevSecOps, engineering and product teams to implement automation, scripting and policies across infrastructure.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Linux/Windows, container orchestration, IaC and security tooling, with a collaborative, proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux/Windows admin and scripting (bash, PowerShell, with Python optional).
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and Helm.
• IaC experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with security tooling (SonarQube, GitLab SEP/PEP).
• Knowledge of Redis, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Agile development and incident/change management.
• Singaporean nationality or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, implement, maintain, administer and improve IT infrastructure and CI/CD platform.
• Collaborate with Product Team to onboard new products and improve development processes.
• Collaborate with Infosec to implement security best practices across apps and infra.
• Coordinate within DevSecOps and other teams to enhance IT landscape and processes.
• Own, recover from incidents and manage outages.
• Oversee procurement lifecycle and vendor engagements for projects.
• Develop policies and tooling for changes to infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Share knowledge and promote DevOps culture across teams.
• Provision hosting environments via code and automate tooling.
