Job summary

A leading financial services organization in Singapore is looking for a Platform Support Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of critical systems. This role includes developing observability tools and maintaining compliance, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly with Java, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, System Analyst, or Software Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with observability tools is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of KDB/Q for development and support.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring.
• Develop and enhance observability tools using Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Handle application recovery, testing, and performance validation.

• Provide off-hours support to ensure system availability.
