Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-agnostic, robust, and scalable platform solutions.
• Develop and maintain multi-tenant shared service platforms.
• Handling BAU operations and on-call rotation duties.
• Securing application infrastructure and accelerate developer velocity.
• Gather specifications and user feedback.
• Maximizing manpower and infrastructure costs.

Requirement

Senior-level experience in software or systems engineering.

Hands-on software development in the capacity of an Individual Contributor.

Technology Skillset

• Infrastructure as Code: Extensive experience in the Terraform ecosystem. Preferred OpenTofu, Pulumi or Crossplane.
• Programming Languages: Golang for systems and platform development. Python for scripting and automation.
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Cloud Platforms: major cloud providers.
• Architecture: cloud-native and cloud-agnostic implementations.

Expertise in either

• Platform Engineering, building true multi-tenant platforms focused on developer experience (DevEx), billing, observability, and service lifecycle management.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in defining and managing SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and automating operations for large-scale, mission-critical services.
• Infrastructure Engineering in designing and building low-level systems, including kernel-level programming (eBPF), advanced networking (packet filtering, custom network fabrics), and distributed consensus algorithms (Paxos/Raft).

Able to

• build and maintain complex platform systems from the ground up.
• work with legacy and open-source code bases to fork, patch, and contribute fixes.
• communicate complex technical concepts and collaborate across diverse teams.
• optimize and improve infrastructure, processes, and system reliability.
• take on BAU operations and on-call duties to ensure service stability.
• closely adhere to change management
• create clear, comprehensive documentation.
