Job summary

A Japanese manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking candidates for a role involving operational tasks in a chemical plant. Responsibilities include handling daily operational tasks, performing field logging, and operating utility and process plants. Candidates should hold a diploma in Chemical Process Technology and possess safety awareness. Experience in the chemical industry is preferred and experience with forklift and firefighting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Min Nitec/Diploma holder in Chemical Process Technology.
• 2-3 years’ experience in chemical industry preferred.
• 2nd Grade Steam Engineer or Boiler Attendance Certificate is an advantage.
• Experience in forklift and firefighting is an advantage.
• Able to perform field and panel works.
• High awareness of job safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily operational tasks and participate in plant troubleshooting.
• Perform field logging, routine sampling and plant testing work.
• Prepare process equipment for mechanical work.
• Carry out loading/unloading activities.
• Operate utility and process plant.
