Job summary

A local advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily operations and ensure maintenance of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, strong leadership and communication skills, and be willing to work in an outdoor environment. This role offers a salary of up to $3500 plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance and repair works of plant equipment.
• Able to work outdoors in various conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and on public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Oversee overall maintenance and repair works of the plant equipment.
• Lead a group of workers and address issues or grievances.
• Ensure plant safety procedures are followed.
• Conduct timely stock counts for cylinder tracking.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Position title : Operations & Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Pioneer

Working Days: 5. 5 work week

Working hours : 7.30am to 4.30pm, Sat: 7.30am to 12.45pm

Salary : Up to $3500 (subject to qualifications and experience) + OT

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, day-to-day operations of the facility
• Be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair works of the plant equipment
• Lead a group of workers, hauliers and tanker attendants e.g. addressing issues or grievances, ensure proper facilitation of their job assignments and etc.
• Oversea and commit to plant safety procedures: WHS, FS
• Ensure stock count for cylinder tracking is timely and accurately reflected in our in-house system
• Communicate with other departments or parts of the plant to make sure everything runs smoothly
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

• Higer Nitec in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willing to work in outdoor environment
• Do not mind OT and working on PH
