Job summary

A leading minerals processing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the utilities and facilities of their plant. The role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all electrical equipment, maintaining plant electrical systems, and supporting process and utility equipment. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience. This position includes responsibilities in emergency troubleshooting and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Around 5–10 years of experience in plant, utility, or manufacturing operations & maintenance preferred.
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain plant electrical systems, including LT/HT panels, DG sets, VFDs, and motors.
  • Support process and utility equipment as required.
  • Plan and carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures.
  • Coordinate with vendors for service and spare parts.
