Job summary

KLA, a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems, seeks a Senior Production Planning Leader in Singapore to oversee a high‑performing planning team. You will drive end‑to‑end production plans, align with demand and capacity, and partner with ERP systems (SAP) to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing planning teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong expertise in assembly/test operations and manufacturing flow.
  • Deep understanding of MRP, MPS, S&OP/IBP processes, and long lead-time material management.
  • Proven experience driving process transformation, system optimization, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong analytical capabilities (Excel, data modeling).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, develop, and scale a high-performing team of production planners.
  • Own development and execution of short- and long-term production plans.
  • Drive end-to-end planning strategy within S&OP/IBP frameworks.
  • Establish, standardize, and improve planning processes and systems.
  • Provide strategic input to executive leadership through scenario modeling and capacity planning.
  • Oversee planning execution within ERP/MRP/MPS systems.
  • Lead analysis of demand, capacity, and supply signals to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Define and monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, cycle time, service levels, and on-time starts.
  • Drive planning readiness and execution for new product launches and lifecycle transitions.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to mitigate risks.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications


Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise, develop, and scale a high-performing team of production planners, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

  • Own the development and execution ofshort- and long-term production plans, ensuring alignment to customer demand, capacity constraints, and business objectives

  • Driveend-to-end planning strategy, integrating demand, supply, and production plans within S&OP / IBP frameworks

  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improveplanning processes, systems, and best practicesacross the organization

  • Providestrategic input to executive leadershipthrough scenario modeling, capacity planning, and risk assessments

  • Oversee planning execution within ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, MRP/MPS), ensuring data integrity and process discipline

  • Lead deep analysis ofdemand, capacity, and supply signalsto identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), includingforecast accuracy, inventory turns, cycle time, service levels, and on-time starts, driving accountability and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Drive planning readiness and execution fornew product launches (NPI), product ramps, and lifecycle transitions

  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to proactively mitigate risks related tocapacity constraints, material shortages, and supply disruptions

  • Support executive reviews, audits, and operational readiness initiatives with data-driven insights and recommendations



Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 10+ yearsof experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations within a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of leadership experiencemanaging planning teams in complex, matrixed organizations

  • Strong expertise inassembly/test operations and manufacturing flow

  • Deep understanding ofMRP, MPS, S&OP / IBP processes, and long lead-time material management
