Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, updating, and submission of comprehensive project schedules and progress reports.
  • Support the Project Manager and/or Senior Planning Engineer in the integration and coordination of sub-contractor schedules.
  • Assist in planning reviews with EPC/Subcontractors; align their schedules to the master plan.
  • Attend project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on planning and scheduling action items.
  • Learn and adhere to company and project-specific scheduling procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with contract/client planning requirements and coding standards.
  • Maintain data quality: calendars, codes (WBS/OBS/CBS), versions, audit trail.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project (or Primavera P6) at an intermediate level.
  • Solid understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM) and fundamental scheduling principles.
  • Capable of assisting in the preparation and regular updating of project schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation charts under supervision.
  • Experience in the preparation of claim letters and Extension of Time (EOT) delay analysis is an added advantage.
