Job summary

A leading construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support project, site, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in construction and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Candidates must also be certified in Primavera P6. This role involves coordinating project efforts with various stakeholders to ensure success.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Director/Manager in project, site, and risk management to achieve project goals.
• Handle construction planning, scheduling, baseline programme, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and report site progress against the baseline programme.
• Assist in compiling project reports such as monthly updates, VO management, EOT assessments, etc.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on all project matters, including issue resolution and documentation.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure contract compliance and timely completion.
• Assist Contracts Department with tender preparations, including drawings, method statements, proposals, schedules, and claims.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project stays on schedule.
• Oversee site quality control, EHS practices, and identify high-risk activities before approving method statements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the related field.
• Primavera P6 certification is required.
