A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in roadworks or viaducts. The role involves assisting on tendering functions, planning, scheduling projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and health standards. Report and assist Technical Director or Planning Manager on tendering function
Assist Technical Department on the preparation of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc.
Responsible for construction planning, scheduling, baseline programme and tracking of tender schedule as well as co-ordination with consultants, contractors & suppliers when required.
Assist project site planning and programming when required.
Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with Contractual requirements and target completion date is met.
Responsible for construction planning, scheduling, baseline programme and tracking of projects, as well as co-ordination with consultants, contractor & supplier.
Monitor project development schedule and report site progress according to submitted baseline programme.
Assist in collations of project progress reports e.g. Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates, etc.
To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with Contractual requirements and target completion date is met.
To assist Contracts Department on the preparation of tender including drawings, method statements, proposals, programme, and preparation of claims, etc.
Liaise with Client’s Representatives, Consultants and/or Contractors engaged on the project and attend regular meetings so as to ensure the progress is on schedule.
Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time and identify high risks safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statements.
Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil)
Experience equivalent with 3 years of working experience in roadworks/viaducts/LTA.
