A leading staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a supply chain planner to develop purchasing and material planning strategies. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, strong proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a planner or in a similar supply chain role.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Aviation, Off-shore Marine or Semi-con industry preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing and material planning strategies in alignment with production schedules and inventory targets.
• Generate Purchase Requisitions and Production Order creation using SAP system.
• Track order status and expedite or defer deliveries as needed to align with production requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality, to resolve supply chain issues.
• Analyse demand trends and supply risks to anticipate and prevent potential disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in any Engineering discipline or Supply Chain Management or Procurement
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in planner, or similar supply chain role
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace working environment independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multitask Preferably in Oil & Gas, Aviation, Off-shore Marine or Semi-con industry
• Minimum experience using Excel at least “Pivot table” level
