Advertising Assistant Manager – Planning & Contracts

Job Overview

This role provides specialist expertise to ensure the efficient execution of taxi, bus, rail, and bus interchange advertising operations, while managing special projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management
    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with relevant authorities, asset owners, operators, contractors, and advertisers.
    • Conduct studies and engage in lobbying efforts to influence authorities, asset owners, and operators to reduce red tape and enhance support for non-fare revenue initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., WSH, fire safety, security, PDPA), contract terms and conditions, relevant codes of practice, group reporting requirements, and quality management standards.
    • Serve as the document controller for contracts, licences, concession, permits, and certifications, ensuring timely updates and accurate record-keeping.
  • Operational and Performance Support
    • Support initiatives to improve quality, enhance productivity, streamline processes, reduce operating costs, and promote ESG sustainability.
    • Monitor and track business performance (e.g., Operations Balanced Scorecard and KPIs), providing regular reports and insights for management review.
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Assist in managing procurement and contracts to ensure the company is hedged through diversified sourcing and the engagement of backup contractors for critical services.
  • Process Optimisation
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative bottlenecks, and enhance service delivery.
  • Ad-hoc Duties
    • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of regulatory or licensing experience, preferably from a statutory body (e.g., MOT or LTA).
  • Strong presentation, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Diplomatic, excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and results driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
