Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Production / Material Planner to manage customer accounts and enhance supply chain performance. Candidates should possess a degree in Supply Chain Management and have 1-2 years of relevant experience. The role includes providing updates on production schedules, analyzing performance metrics, and participating in improvement initiatives. This position also requires supporting weekend shifts with a work-from-home arrangement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts regarding planning, delivery and supply issues.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, ensuring fast resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc updates/ reports to customers on production schedules, delivery timelines, and order status.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and support root cause analysis for missed targets.
• Participate in continues improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure alignment with customer delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Supply Chain Management
• Prefer minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience as a Production / Material Planner for Engineering industries.
• Able to liaise with customers on the production / delivery status.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with SAP/ MRP knowledge is an added advantage
• Good analysis skill and interpersonal skill.
• Proactive person and good team player.
• Able to support Weekend Shift (Saturday & Sunday - WFH arrangement)
