Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore seeks a qualified individual to optimize shop floor scheduling and manage logistics. The candidate will develop production targets, evaluate equipment capacity, and drive continuous improvements in processes. Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize shop floor scheduling to achieve throughput targets.
• Set monthly WIP and production targets to meet global inventory DOH requirements.
• Evaluate equipment capacity through time studies and material flow analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in capacity utilization and material flow.
• Manage yield and process time variation to ensure customer demand fulfilment.
• Plan ingot growing based on product mix and puller capacity.
• Coordinate ingot deliveries to overseas manufacturing sites.
• Adjust production starts and ingot growing plans to support changes in product specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and systems in manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product costing.
• Strong PC and Microsoft Excel skills (Visual Basic a plus).
• Basic knowledge of C++.
