Silicon Laboratories International Pte Ltd – Tai Seng

This individual plans and coordinates the monthly production cycle, including monitoring the forecasted build plan and ensure timely delivery of products to customers and meet other KPIs such as cycle time, shipment & inventory turns.

Skills you’ll need:
  • Monitor and review daily WIP status and production output and flag-out production bottlenecks for immediate resolution.
  • Plan, issue and monitor wafer, assembly and test releases based on product demand and stock level.
  • Schedule & monitor customers’ orders. Take appropriate actions proactively to minimize delays and update schedules in SAP.
  • Generate priority list for suppliers and follow through until shipment.
  • Drive supplier factory for on time delivery performance (FOTD) and Cycle Time Performance according to company policy for deployment.
  • Manage and work closely with suppliers & Contract Manufacturer on Bill of Material (eg. Lead-frame & components) and spot buy proposal.
  • Generate and follow-up on Purchase Order requests.
  • Perform semi-annual Inventory Audit, take proactive actions to minimize / eliminate discrepancies and prepare Inventory reports.
  • Attend or chair conference calls between supplier and internal customers across different time zones to respond to enquiries and to resolve issues.
  • Manage SAP transactions for RMA, quantity adjustments, lot scrapping and other required transactions. Manage B2B data with sub contractors & resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in systems enhancement project such as SAP, Adexa as a domain expert.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Education and/or Experience:

Degree plus experience in a Semiconductor industry, specifically in the assembly, test and module business.

Hands-on experience in using the following systems:

  • Working knowledge in SAP or other ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of advanced planning & scheduling concepts & tools such as Adexa
