Job summary

Clef Edge Music Studio in Singapore invites passionate piano teachers to deliver individualized lessons for a range of ages and abilities. You will prepare students for ABRSM exams, develop tailored plans, and guide technique, theory, sight-reading, and listening skills.

You will monitor progress, provide feedback to parents, and motivate students to build strong practice habits while engaging in studio activities and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum ABRSM Grade 8 Piano or equivalent qualification.
• A Diploma in Piano Performance or Music Teaching will be an advantage.
• Prior piano teaching experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of ABRSM examination requirements and piano teaching methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, responsible, punctual and passionate about music education.
• Ability to work independently and adapt teaching approaches to different students.
• Willingness to teach children and students of varying abilities.
• Availability to teach during weekday afternoons, evenings or weekends will be an advantage.
