APEXHIRE CONSULTANCY is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to support physiotherapists in patient preparation, exercises, and supervision. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and dignity during therapy sessions.

The position involves preparing equipment, maintaining treatment areas, and assisting with scheduling and administrative tasks. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating with healthcare professionals.

Competenze

• Diploma or higher in healthcare, physiotherapy assistance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

A. Patient Care and Assistance

• Assist physiotherapists in preparing patients for physiotherapy treatments.

• Assist patients with basic exercises and rehabilitation activities as instructed by physiotherapists.

• Ensure patients' comfort, dignity, and safety during therapy.

B. Equipment and Treatment Preparation

• Prepare and set up physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas before sessions.

• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any defects or malfunctions.

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain physiotherapy equipment after use.

• Ensure adequate supplies of treatment materials and consumables.

C. Department Operations

• Assist with patient scheduling and preparation for therapy sessions.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physiotherapy treatment areas.

• Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are ready for daily operations.

• Assist in managing patient flow and directing patients to the appropriate treatment areas.

• Support administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and maintaining patient records where required.

D. Safety and Infection Control

• Comply with infection prevention and control policies.

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of physiotherapy equipment.

• Report incidents, hazards, and patient safety concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.

E. Teamwork and Communication

• Work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.

• Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to the supervising physiotherapist.

3. Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma and above in healthcare, physiotherapy assistance, or a related field is an advantage.

• Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or physiotherapy setting is preferred.

• Basic computer literacy and documentation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physically fit and able to assist patients with mobility and transfers.

• Patient, caring, responsible, and able to work in a team.
