Are you ready to take your physics expertise to the next level — and help bring cutting-edge detection technology from concept to reality? Join our client as their Physics Application Senior Manager, where you’ll lead high-impact pilot projects and help commercialize advanced solutions to clients.

The Opportunity

In this senior leadership role, you’ll bridge strategy and execution — transforming strategic client agreements into operational success. You’ll manage R&D teams, drive experimentation and trials, oversee partnerships with subcontractors, and deliver robust, high-performance reader devices. If you thrive on translating complex physics into practical, real-world applications — and enjoy seeing your work make it to market — this is your chance to lead.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development of our technology, from proof-of-concept to industrial roll-out, particularly focusing on the reader devices and detection performance.
  • Design experiments, perform measurements and simulations, and compile insights into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and partners to design and manufacture next-generation detection units.
  • Improve existing technologies and develop new measurement methods to ensure top-tier detection performance.
  • Provide technical training and support to clients — and be the trusted expert they rely on.
  • Manage a R&D lab, guide your team’s growth, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results.
  • Prepare clear, compelling demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients.
  • Oversee rapid development of POCs for concept validation.
  • Report findings to management and stakeholders with clarity and precision.
What You’ll Bring
  • A PhD in Physics, or a related discipline (8+ years relevant experience) or equivalent senior-level experience.
  • Deep knowledge of radiation sources, spectroscopy, or reader devices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, international project teams in complex environments.
  • Proven track record of commercializing new technologies or applications.
  • Industrial manufacturing experience.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills — you can explain complex science in simple terms.
  • A collaborative, hands‑on, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to bridge global teams.
