Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications and APIs using PHP and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and other issues as they arise.
• Work with databases, to design schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data effectively.
• Integrate third-party services, libraries, and APIs as needed to enhance application functionality.
• Collaborate with the Mobile App team to ensure seamless integration between the App and backend systems.
• Write functional/unit test.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP programming language and a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
• Experience with Ecommerce, Payment Gateway, Accounting/ERP API integration.
• Experience with Codeignitor or Laravel web framework.
• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery
• Experience with Git and unit test with PHPUnit
• Experience with Apache web server.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Web security
• Strong understanding of MySQL/MariaDB database, including database design, optimization, and querying.
• Proficient in Linux is a plus.
