Job Title: Studio Product Photographer & Food Stylist
The Studio Product Photographer & Food Stylist is responsible for producing high-quality, visually compelling imagery of pastry products, baked goods, and packaging. This role blends technical photography skills with creative food styling to elevate the brand's visual identity across e-commerce, social media, and marketing channels.
Studio Photography: Execute end-to-end studio photo shoots for all pastry products. Manage the technical setup, including professional camera systems, lenses, and intricate studio lighting to capture the delicate textures and colors of baked goods.
Creative Food Styling: Conceptualize and arrange food setups to ensure products look fresh, appetizing, and on-brand. Manipulate ingredients, handle delicate pastries, and use styling tools to achieve the perfect composition.
Prop & Set Management: Source, curate, and organize a versatile inventory of backgrounds, surfaces, plating, and props that complement a modern patisserie aesthetic.
Post-Production: Perform advanced photo retouching, color grading, and image manipulation. Ensure all final assets are optimized and correctly formatted for web, print, and social media platforms.
Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with the marketing team and head bakers to plan shoot schedules, align on creative briefs, and ensure visual consistency across all product launches and seasonal campaigns.
Experience: Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in commercial food photography, product photography, and food styling.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of professional-grade equipment (e.g., operating high-resolution DSLRs like the Nikon D850 or similar systems), studio strobes, and continuous lighting setups.
Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for composition, color accuracy, and the structural integrity of delicate food items under warm studio lights.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple shooting schedules and deliver edited assets within tight production deadlines.
