Job summary

Edufarm Learning Centre in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Permanent Part-Time Phonics Teacher to deliver engaging phonics lessons for children aged 4 to 7. The role requires commitment to a 12-month teaching assignment and in-person work at RC Centres during evenings or weekends.

You will follow prepared lesson plans, communicate with parents about progress, manage small classes, and support early literacy development.

Qualifications

• Phonics teaching qualification required.
• Preschool level teaching experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with parents.
• Eligible to work in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct phonics lessons for children aged 4–7 years old.

• Follow the provided lesson plans and teaching materials.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ learning and progress.

• Manage small classes and create a positive, engaging learning environment.

• Commit to the assigned teaching schedule and assist with simple administrative tasks when required.

Job Requirements

• Relevant Phonics qualification.

• Pre-School Certificate, CPT or DPT.

• 'O' Level qualification, Diploma or higher.

• Fluent in spoken communication and comfortable interacting with parents.

• Eligible to work in Singapore.

• Responsible, patient and committed to a 12-month teaching assignment.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-Time / Contract

• Contract Duration: 12 months

• Class Size: Small group classes

• Lesson Duration: 1.5 hours per session

• Age Group: 4–7 years old

• Schedule: Weekday evenings (7:30 PM–9:00 PM) or weekends (from 9:30 AM onwards)

• Work Location: In person at RC Centres in Singapore
