The position offers a central location and flexible schedules. A phlebotomy certification is preferred; a commitment of 6 months or longer is required, and candidates may be considered for other opportunities if not a perfect

Qualifications

• Relevant phlebotomy certification/training.
• Able to commit to 6 months or longer.

Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and blood collection safely and accurately.
• Provide phlebotomy services for patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy or cancer treatment.
• Identify suitable venous access and manage patients with difficult or fragile veins.
• Ensure proper labelling, handling and processing of blood specimens.
• Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards.
• Provide reassurance and appropriate support to patients throughout the procedure.
