Job summary

Centific is seeking a PhD Intern to contribute to cutting-edge research in AI, including Deep Reinforcement Learning, NLP, and LLMs. The role is remote and part-time, with 40 hours weekly, allowing collaboration across research and product teams.

You will work with a global team and partner with leading AI platforms to push the boundaries of GenAI capabilities while pursuing a PhD-focused program in AI algorithms.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics is required.
• Currently enrolled in a PhD program specializing in AI algorithms from a US leading school.
• Hands-on experience with modern Deep Reinforcement Learning.
• Track record of publication on RL is a major plus.
• Outstanding C# and/or Python coding skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-oriented free-thinkers with ability to socialize and drive ideas into technology.

Responsibilities

• R&D in Deep Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models, NLP, Information Retrieval and ML.
• Push the boundaries of AI platforms through innovation and partnership.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Research, Microsoft Turing, Azure, AI platform teams, and product teams to create the next generation of AI solutions.
