Job description

Island Veterinary Clinic is looking for 2 part‑time Pharmacy Veterinary Assistants. Your main task is to dispense meds (under supervision), manage medicine inventory, and handle administrative duties related to medications, food and supplements.

JOB DUTIES

• Pharmacy Support: Managing pharmacy inventory, ordering supplies, labeling medications, and assisting with prescription fulfillment under veterinary guidance.
• Client & Admin: Handling reception, answering phones, scheduling, managing client records, and communicating follow‑up care.

Part‑time hours: The work time will be split to 9:00 AM‑2:00 PM / 2:00 PM‑7:30 PM on weekdays, 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM on Saturday, 9:00 AM‑1:00 PM / 2:00 PM‑5:00 PM. A minimum of 24 hours a week.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Communication: Excellent communication with clients and vets.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for medication handling and patient monitoring.
