Pharmacy Technician (West/GOVT) - Office Hours/Entry Level/up to $3k #HAO

Salary: up to $3000
Working Days & Hours:8am - 8pm Roster Arrangement(38hrs/ week)
• Can be work 4 days, rest 3 days, work 3 days, rest 4 days or other combinations
• Working Hours: 8am to 8pm/ day, with 1.5 hours break each day
Location: Queenstown

Job Description:
1) Daily Operations

• Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform billing functions
• Ensures work area is ready for daily operations
• Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
• Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects/activities as and when required

2) Inventory Management

• Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Performs topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
• Ensures correct receiving of goods
• Secondary repackaging/redressing
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs

3) Dispensing

• Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
