Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and supply medications under supervision.
  • Manage inventory and dispose of expired or damaged drugs.
  • Assist in simple troubleshooting of dispensing machines.
  • Respond to basic drug enquiries and assist the pharmacist as needed.

Responsibilities
  • The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the preparation and supply of medications under Changi Medical Facility in Singapore Prisons.
  • Inventory control including stock requisition from materials management and disposal of expired/damaged drugs
  • Packing and supply of medications
  • Maintenance and simple trouble shooting of dispensing machine
  • Respond to simple drug enquiries and escalating more complex enquiries to the pharmacists
  • Assisting the pharmacist and Cluster Pharmacy-In-Charge in any other related function when necessary
  • Other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • GCE ‘O' level with certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course and/or a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or its equivalent
  • Pleasant disposition with good communication skills
  • Meticulous and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
