Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process medication orders for patients, maintain pharmacy cleanliness, and ensure proper stock management. Candidates must possess a diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent certification. This role requires travelling between west side polyclinics when necessary. Qualifications

• Open to travelling around west side polyclinics when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient.
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies.
• Perform billing functions.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas.
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly according to FEFO requirement.
• Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards.
• Ensure correct receiving of goods.
• Secondary repackaging/redressing.
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically.
• Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with policies.

Work Location: West side polyclinics

Job Responsibilities

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform billing functions
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
• Ensure correct receiving of goods
• Secondary repackaging/redressing
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
• Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
