Job description

Location: Queenstown

Salary: $2500 ( 1 year contract role)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Rostered, 38 hours/week)
Roster: 7 working days over 2 weeks (e.g., 4 days work, 3 days rest / 3 days work, 4 days rest)

Daily Operations

• Deliver professional and courteous service to all patients and customers
• Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately
• Pick, pack, and label medications per SOPs and guidelines
• Perform billing and administrative duties
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of pharmacy and ward drug areas
• Support workplace quality improvement initiatives

Inventory Management

• Manage inventory using First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) practices
• Restock Omnicell ward inventory efficiently
• Verify and receive goods correctly
• Perform secondary repackaging/redressing of medications
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes

Dispensing

• Dispense medications safely and accurately, following all regulatory and internal guidelines
