Job summary

A healthcare staffing company in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide professional service and manage medication dispensing. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, experience in customer service, and be able to maintain inventory. This position offers a salary of up to $3,500 with office hours from Monday to Friday, and half day Saturday service.

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri office hours, Sat half day
Location: Central

Job Description

1. Daily Operations
   • Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
   • Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
   • Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
   • Perform billing functions
   • Ensures work area is ready for daily operations
   • Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
   • Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects/activities as and when required
2. Inventory Management
   • Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
   • Performs topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
   • Ensures correct receiving of goods
   • Secondary repackaging/redressing
   • Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
3. Dispensing
   • Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
