Job summary

A pharmacy services provider in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support both inpatient and outpatient operations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and effective interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include processing medications and maintaining drug inventory records. Job description

Our client is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and dispense medications to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Handle daily ward requests and ensure timely supply of inpatient medications.
• Assist pharmacists with procurement, receipt, and processing of drugs to meet hospital requirements.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of drug inventory, including usage, expiry, and stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate quality, regulatory standards, and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations as directed by pharmacists or the Pharmacy Manager.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification.
• Valid certificate in Pharmacy Technician course preferred.
• Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting or inventory management is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work well in a team.

Work Schedule

• Mondays to Fridays and alternate Saturdays or Sundays (based on roster)
• Working hours: 8:30am 5:30pm or 9:00am 6:00pm (based on roster)
