Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to oversee pharmacy operations and support the delivery of safe and efficient pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee roster planning to ensure sufficient pharmacy technician coverage across inpatient, retail, and emergency pharmacies.
• Supervise, coach, and train new pharmacy technicians and assistants in daily work processes.
• Assist pharmacists with drug ordering, processing, and stock replenishment.
• Maintain strict inventory control and ensure accurate distribution of medications.
• Dispense and counsel patients on medications in line with Good Dispensing Guidelines.
• Provide professional and attentive customer service to patients and staff.
• Support clerical and administrative functions as required by pharmacists.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists on inventory management, procurement, and project‑related tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N Level with Certificate in Pharmacy Technician (Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore) or Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science.
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• 5 working day schedule, inclusive of either Saturday or Sunday.
• Willing to work shifts and night duties.

Work Hours

Weekdays may include any of the following shifts:

7:00am 4:00pm

9:00am 6:00pm

10:00am 7:00pm

12:30pm 9:30pm (standby to cover night shift, if required)

9:00pm 7:00am (only when the permanent night Pharmacy Technician is on leave or unwell)
