Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in daily operations, prepare and distribute medications, and manage pharmacy functions. Qualifications

• Possess a Pharmacy Technician Course Certificate issued by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or an equivalent Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic.
• Relevant working experience in Healthcare would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute drugs to patients and other departments under supervision.
• Coordinate daily Pharmacy functions including billing and inventory management.
• Assist in the training of new staff.
• Participate in departmental projects and activities.

Job description

Pharmacy Technicians shall assist Pharmacists in all aspects of the Pharmacy’s daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute drugs to patients, treatment rooms and other departments, under the supervision of the Pharmacist
• Co‑ordinate Pharmacy functions and services daily, including billing/ administrative documentation, general housekeeping, inventory management and equipment maintenance
• Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff and guide/ supervise Pharmacy Assistants in their duties and responsibilities
• Participate in department projects and activities as assigned

Job Requirements

• Possess a Pharmacy Technician Course Certificate issued by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or an equivalent Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic in Pharmaceutical Science
• Fresh Diploma candidate from Pharmaceutical Science are welcome to apply
• Relevant working experience in Healthcare would be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a busy and fast pace environment
