Job summary

A healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a pharmacist to provide medication dispensing, supervise technicians, and engage in quality improvement activities. Candidates should hold a Pharmacy degree and be registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council. New pharmacists are welcome to apply, but candidates with 3-8 years of experience may be considered for senior positions.

Job description

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive medication education to patients and caregivers.
• Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent and/or resolve drug-related problems with appropriate therapeutic recommendations to enable safe and cost‑effective medication therapy.
• Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians/assistants in routine patient care activities in outpatient pharmacy.
• Assist in the clinical education of students, trainees, healthcare professionals, and/or pharmacy technicians/assistants.
• Participate in research and/or quality improvement activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Registered Pharmacist with Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Newly registered pharmacists are welcome to apply
• Clinical practice experience of at least 3 to 8 years will be considered for senior position
