Petrochemical Technician - 12 hrs shift (Nitec CPT, JURONG ISLAND)

INFO : Japanese MNC in chemical engineering in plastics polymer manufacturing, required 12 hours rotating shift Technician X 2

Location & Transport/ Remunerations : Jurong Island (Transport pickup to and fro at Jurong East, Outram Park Mrt)

Basic $2,000 - $3,000 + $370 mthly allowance

12 HOURS ROTATING SHIFT (MORNING & NIGHT) / CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNICIAN X 2

Responsibilities

Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/ instructions

Operate the process equipments at site in accordance with operation plan.

Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of senior

Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipments and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.

Prepare and organised patrol records

Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.

Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.

Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.

Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises.

Requirements

GCE 'N' , 'O' Level, Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or any equivalent discipline

No experience are welcome to apply

GCE 'N' or 'O' level must possess a pass in Mathematics and Science

Minimum 1 year experience in chemical plant, experience in polymerization unit and extrusion unit or a minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing plant such compounding or extrusion is advantageous.

Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.

Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous

An effective team player with good communication

Able to work shift in a fast paced environment.

Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift ( 8.00am to 8.00pm , morning shift / 8.00pm to 8.00am , night shift)
