Job summary

A retail company in pet supplies is seeking a Sales Assistant to provide professional customer service and manage stock effectively. Responsibilities include assisting customers with their inquiries, handling transactions, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a clean store environment. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work retail hours, and handle items of up to 10kg. This permanent position requires traveling within Singapore as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, proactive customer service and provide suitable product recommendations.
  • Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
  • Receive incoming stock, replenish shelves, and ensure proper product display.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and shelf-life to maintain stock quality.
  • Pick and pack items according to customers’ orders.
  • Carry out daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and tidy outlet.
  • Advise customers on pet care related inquiries.
  • Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Position Title: Sales Assistant

Working Location: Singapore Islandwide (Travelling required)

Working Hours: 6 Days per week (9.30am – 9.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic Salary + Commission & Incentives + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent
