Job summary

The Role

The Personal Assistant will report directly to the President and play a key role in providing administrative and executive support. This includes managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling confidential correspondence. The Personal Assistant must demonstrate strong communication, organisational skills, writing skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Description
  • Manage the President’s calendar of appointments and meetings.
  • Coordinate and organise meetings, including the preparation of agendas, materials, and follow‑up on actionable tasks.
  • Provide regular reminders and updates about upcoming meetings and their status.
  • Attend various events organised by the Chamber of Commerce or other local institutions with the President.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the President.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in providing executive or administrative support.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and writing skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage, as the role involves frequent communication with stakeholders from Chinese‑speaking markets.
