Overview

Permanent Part-Time 3.5 Days Per Week (Office Hours) – Clinic Assistant / Patient Service Associate / Clinic Executive

BJIOS Orthopaedics is looking for an individual who is able to aid in the coordinating of care across multiple healthcare providers and settings. This role enhances the overall patient experience and the quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and manage reception area, answering calls & handling inquiries

  • Registering, schedule appointment and processing payments for patients

  • Verify patients on Third-party administrators (TPA), Insurances and Medisave details and process claims

  • Facilitate Hospital Admission

  • Assist Nurses and Doctors in administrative and clinical support

  • Perform stock-taking of medical supplies and ensure accuracy

  • Financial counselling, and coordinating of patient surgeries

  • Provide and educate patients and family members on health grants and medical assistance information

Qualifications
  • Minimum (GCE) N Level or above

  • Experience in a clinic setting is preferred

  • Knowledge in medical billing software & TPA Insurance Claims

  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision

  • Outgoing and pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in computer skills

  • Service Oriented and patient focused

  • Possess organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage coordinate schedules

  • Able to start work in short notice
