A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Perm Marine Claims Executive. The role involves handling claims administration, verifying payment statuses, and coordinating with clients. Jobs Responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day claims administration including correspondence with clients and intermediaries, and attend meetings when required.
• Upon claims notification, coordinate necessary follow-ups such as collecting customer details, arranging surveys, and engaging settling agents if applicable.
• Issue Acknowledgment Letters and request all supporting claims documents from clients or intermediaries.
• Verify premium payment status prior to claims processing; work closely with the Finance team to resolve any outstanding payments.
• Identify and forward claims with recovery potential to Claims Recovery Agents and actively monitor recovery progress.
• Maintain proper documentation for exceptional claims cases such as ex-gratia payments and large losses, including tracking associated recoveries.
• Conduct regular file reviews and compile monthly and quarterly reports/statistics when required.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Marine Claims system/module.
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
